Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland is a model and actor. Her debut came in a Bond movie, A View to a Kill in 1985. In 1989, she played an archaeologist with Nazi sympathies Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Siobhan was in A Prayer for the Dying, Charlotte in Taffin and Rebecca Flannery Major League II. Doody was invited by a photographer, and began to perform the role of a model. She then developed an industry-wide career in commercial modeling. Doody was very determined not to do the glamorous work or doing nude. The same rule continued into her acting career. In 1985, following receiving notice from the directors who were casting an upcoming James Bond new film, Doody was cast in a minor portion of Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody was selected as one of the top twelve promising young actors in the year 1986 by John Willis Screen World. 38. Doody, who was only 18 at the time she played Doody in the film A Prayer for the Dying (1987) with Mickey Rourke. Doody is the tiniest Bond girl to be seen. A different early film was a small part in the role of IRA member Siobhan Donovan on A Prayer for the Dying (1987) that was a film starring Mickey Rourke. Doody had an unspoken role as Archibald Craven's spouse Lilias as she appeared in his dream, 1987's adaptation of The Secret Garden. In the Jim Henson fantasy episode The Storyteller in 1988, she played Sapsorrow with John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She also starred as Pierce Brosnan on the movie Taffin. Her most recognizable role to date was as Austrian Nazi sympathiser as well as archaeologist Dr. Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody appeared alongside Sean Connery in the film and played the role of her father in the film. Doody has co-starred alongside Jonathan Pryce, in the British mini-series Selling Hitler. The series was in part inspired by the Hitler Diaries publishing scam. Then, she moved to Hollywood. She was Flannery the agent of Charlie Sheen, as well as her girlfriend in Major League II. She was selected as an alternative to Cybill Shepherd, who was once L'Oreal's spokeswoman. Doody's return to the big screen took place in 2003. Michael Caine played Doody in the role of a brief. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons. In 2014, she appeared in We Still Kill the Old Way. In November of 2018, she won the Almeria tierra de Cine Award as well as a star on the Walk of Fame in Almeria.
